The Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® Lend-a-Hand (LAH) program is a special no-cost promotion in which nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, civic groups and other community service organizations are provided with specially marked discount coupons which can be redeemed at participating Jackson Hewitt locations for $30.00 off of tax preparation services. For each customer who redeems one of the specially marked coupons, the local Jackson Hewitt office will donate $5.00 to the qualifying organization. Jackson Hewitt® has participating offices in Whiteville, Chadbourn, Tabor City, Shallotte, Rocky Point, Burgaw, Kenansville, Warsaw, Beulaville, Wallace, and Pink Hill. How does Lend-A-Hand work? Jackson Hewitt provides discount coupons for you to pass out among your network. For each coupon redeemed at any participating Jackson Hewitt® office, $5.00 will be donated back to your organization. Organizations interested in participating in the 2012 Lend-a-Hand program must preregister prior to December 31, 2011. Organizations are not required to have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, but must provide a federal tax identification number and serve a religious, educational, charitable, or community service purpose.
